Adobe has finally released 3D tools in the new mode in After Effects Beta. The updated 3D tools help users to navigate in 3D space by utilizing improved 3D camera features and 3D Transform Gizmos.
The new 3D Transform gizmos: translation, rotate, scale or combined gizmos allows users to use axes locks as well as guides that can show how far a layer or object has been moved and how many degrees it has been rotated.
The new 3D camera navigation tools allow users to navigate 3D space more intuitively. A new default scene camera streamlines scene setup and multiple cameras can be added to a scene with the ability to orbit, pan, and dolly around objects using customisable keyboard shortcuts.
Beta builds are available from the “Beta apps tab” in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. To learn more about the release, visit the Adobe website.
